No pressure. No pushy salespeople. Most estimates take 40 minutes.
North Texas storms don’t need a hurricane.
Why Fort Worth Homeowners Choose Storm-Rated Screens
Spring storms here bring damaging wind and blowing debris, and a covered patio is open on every side. Furniture, outdoor kitchens and TVs take the hit. MaxForce™ is the screen you lower before the storm, then use the rest of the year for shade.
Tested, not just labeled.
Hurricane Screen Approvals and Testing
MaxForce™ Hurricane Screens are rated for the 185 MPH wind zone (HVHZ) and approved for use in Miami-Dade County and the HVHZ under Florida Product Approval FL8637-R15. They’re tested to Miami-Dade TAS 201, 202 and 203 and ASTM E1886, E1996 and E330. Design pressure varies by span; every installation follows the FL8637-R15 installation instructions.
We tell you what each product does and doesn’t do.
Will Hurricane Screens Stop Hail?
MaxForce™ approvals cover wind pressure and large-missile impact, not hail. We won’t call it hail protection. What it does is close off the sides of your patio against wind, rain and flying debris.
365 days, not just storm days.
Everyday Shade, Privacy and Bug Protection
The OmegaTex fabric, woven with DuPont Kevlar® core yarns, works like a regular screen on a normal day: you see out, air moves through, and it blocks up to 91% of UV rays while keeping bugs and dust off the patio. By day it’s hard to see in from outside.
No zippers, no cables.
How MaxForce™ Retractable Hurricane Screens Work
The fabric edge rides inside a self-adjusting track with Quiet Spring Technology™ that takes up wind movement. A heavy weight bar with reinforced corners locks the bottom of the screen into the track when it’s down, and the motor stops if it meets an obstacle.
Built to each opening.
Fabric, Frame and Control Options
Six fabric colors (Black, Black/Tan, White, White/Tan, Granite and Bronze) and six powder-coated frame finishes in white, beige, bronze and black, with custom paint available. Motors from Fenetex®, Somfy, Gaposa or Simu, a solar option, and app, voice or home-system control. Wide openings use more than one screen, each running on its own. Made in the USA by Fenetex® in Jacksonville, Florida; installed and serviced by CertiPro Home Improvement.
Pick the right screen.
MaxForce™ vs One-Track™: Which Screen Do You Need?
One-Track™ motorized screens are for bugs, shade and everyday comfort, and you raise them in a storm. MaxForce™ is the one you lower in a storm. Many patios use both, each running on its own.
Backed by Fenetex.
MaxForce™ Warranty
MaxForce™ Hurricane Screens carry the Fenetex® manufacturer warranty.
