No pressure. No pushy salespeople. Most estimates take 40 minutes.

The six o’clock problem.

Why Fort Worth Patios Need Motorized Screens

A patio cover handles what comes from above. It doesn’t stop the evening sun coming in sideways, the mosquitoes that run from April to mid-November in Tarrant County, or the wind that pushes rain under the roof. Retractable screens close the sides when you need them and disappear when you don’t.

Pick the screen for the problem.

Insect, Shade and Clear Vinyl Patio Screens

Each opening gets the screen that fits how you use it.

Motorized Insect Screens

Keep the breeze, lose the bugs.

Patio Shade Screens

Block up to 97% of the sun’s harmful rays and cut glare, with daytime privacy.

Clear Vinyl Screens

Block wind and rain in cooler months and keep the view.

Built against the usual failures.

How One-Track™ Retractable Screens Work

Most retractable screens fail at the zipper, the cable or the track. One-Track™ uses a zipperless keder edge that rides inside the track, a Self-Adjusting Track that keeps the screen seated as temperatures change, and Quiet Spring Technology™ for smooth, quiet operation. It’s engineered to eliminate the service issues that plague zipper and fixed-track systems. Nothing sits on the floor: the weight bar hangs free, so there’s no bottom track to trip over. Made in the USA by Fenetex® in Jacksonville, Florida.

We tell you what each product does and doesn’t do.

Are Motorized Patio Screens Storm Protection?

No. One-Track™ insect and shade screens have been tested up to 100 MPH, but they aren’t impact-resistant, and you raise them fully when severe weather is forecast. Clear vinyl screens have no published wind figure. If you want a screen you lower for storms, see MaxForce™ Hurricane Screens.

Shade + screens.

Motorized Screens for Patio Covers, Pergolas and Porches

Most One-Track™ screens go on a structure you already have or are building: an insulated patio cover, a louvered pergola or a covered porch. Prefer fixed screen walls? See our screened rooms.

Remote, phone or voice.

Remote, App and Smart Home Control

Every screen comes with a handheld remote. Depending on the motor (Fenetex, Somfy, Gaposa or Simu, with a solar option where wiring is hard), screens can also run from a phone app, Alexa or Google, or a home system like Control4, Crestron or Savant.

Matches your house.

Frame and Screen Colors

Frames come in eight powder-coated finishes, including white, beige, bronze, black, adobe and grey, in gloss or textured. Most homeowners match the frame to the window trim or the patio cover.

Motorized Screen Questions, Answered

If yours isn't here, Neil picks up directly: (214) 974-8375

How much do motorized screens cost?

Cost depends on the size of each opening, the screen type and the motor. Neil measures every opening and gives you a written price at your design consultation. Third-party financing options available, subject to credit approval.

What happens to motorized screens in a storm?

Raise them fully when severe weather is forecast. One-Track™ insect and shade screens have been tested up to 100 MPH, but they aren’t impact-resistant. Clear vinyl screens have no published wind figure.

Will motorized screens keep mosquitoes out?

That’s what insect screens are for. Lower them and they close the open sides of your patio, so you keep the breeze and lose the bugs through mosquito season, which runs from April to mid-November in Tarrant County.

Can motorized screens go on my existing patio cover?

Usually, yes. Most One-Track™ screens go on a structure you already have or are building: a patio cover, a louvered pergola or a covered porch. Neil measures each opening at your design consultation to confirm the fit.

Motorized screens or a screened room: which is right for me?

Motorized screens lower when you need them and roll out of sight when you don’t, so the patio stays open the rest of the time. A screened room has fixed screen walls that stay in place. Neil can walk you through both at your design consultation, or see our screened rooms.
