How much does a custom pergola cost in Fort Worth?

Aluminum vs. wood pergola: which is better in Texas?
Aluminum pergolas are our top recommendation for DFW: they never rot, warp, or need repainting, and they handle 105°F summers and spring hail with ease. Wood pergolas offer a warmer natural aesthetic but require ongoing maintenance in Texas heat, with staining every 2–3 years minimum. We build both and carry both under our warranty. How long does pergola installation take?
Most custom pergola projects take 3–7 business days from start to finish. Larger builds with lighting, fans, or attached outdoor kitchens take a bit longer. You get a firm timeline at the estimate, and we stick to it.
Can you add lighting or ceiling fans to my pergola?
Yes. We wire pergolas for recessed lighting, string lights, and ceiling fans during the build. It's much cleaner than retrofitting after the fact. If you want electrical, tell us at the estimate and we'll design it in from the start. No fishing wire through finished beams later.
Do you handle permits for pergola installation?
Yes. Most pergola installations in Fort Worth require a building permit. We handle the entire permit process: application, inspections, and final sign-off. You don't have to deal with the city at all. We also know which Fort Worth neighborhoods have HOA design requirements, and we'll flag those at the estimate.
What does the lifetime warranty cover?
